Starting on May 1st, César Huamán Bazán will take on the position of Country Manager at InterNexa Peru. César joins the company after serving 5 years as Commercial Director at Internet para Todos, a leading telecommunications company focused on bridging the connectivity gap in rural areas, having already brought over 3.7 million Peruvians into the digital world. With over 24 years of experience in the telecommunications sector, including 17 years at various Telefónica group companies in Peru, César has led several strategic, financial, and commercial projects. Highlights include securing the first spectrum band for 4G LTE services, expanding Telefónica's fiber optic transport network in partnership with InterNexa, and launching Peru's first Virtual Mobile Operator (OMV) and Mobile Rural Infrastructure Operator (OIMR), among others.

He studied administration at Universidad del Pacífico (UP) and holds a master's degree in banking and finance from Escuela de Finanzas Aplicadas in Madrid (AFI), as well as a master's degree in telecommunications business from Universitat Politécnica de Catalunya (UPC) in Barcelona.

"I am taking on this role with great enthusiasm at a time when InterNexa has much to contribute to connectivity and the country. I am confident that I am joining a team of great professionals and individuals with whom we will make significant projects possible, allowing us to continue growing, leaving a mark, and positively impacting our society," says César.

César's leadership, knowledge, and experience will be crucial for InterNexa in enhancing our presence in Peru, generating added value for our clients, and together, continuing to build a digitally humane world.

We extend our gratitude and best wishes to Ana Beatriz Monge for the new challenges and projects that lie ahead.
